# Data Security and Privacy

> Raindrop's Commitment to Data Security and Privacy

At Raindrop, protecting our customers' data is our top priority. We have implemented a comprehensive set of measures to safeguard sensitive information and maintain the highest standard of security and compliance.

#### Compliance

Raindrop is [SOC 2 Type II Compliant,](https://trust.raindrop.ai/) demonstrating our commitment to meeting rigorous security, availability, and confidentiality standards.

#### Encryption

* Encryption at rest: Our event data is stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS), on dedicated infrastructure. This ensures that even if unauthorized parties access data, they cannot decrypt it without the required keys. Customer data is never stored on any medium that is not encrypted at rest.
* Encryption in transit: To safeguard information while it is being transmitted, our systems and data storage communicate via secure channels using encryption mechanisms like SSL/TLS.

#### Privacy Assurance

We take customer privacy very seriously. We do not train models on your data (besides the custom models used exclusively by you/your company).
