# Plans and limits

> What Hobby, Pro, and Enterprise include, and what happens when you reach a limit.

Raindrop is sold as two self-serve plans plus Enterprise. The free **Hobby** plan covers the core loop — instrument your agent, search your traces, and run a signal — while deeper analysis (Issue Detection, Experiments, conversation summaries, Memory, data export) is Pro.

## Plans

For detailed pricing and to estimate your monthly costs, see [pricing](https://www.raindrop.ai/#pricing).

* **Hobby** (Free) — Start instrumenting and exploring your agent's behavior for free. No credit card required.
  * Best for individual developers and side projects.
  * 1,000 events / month, 1 [custom signal](/docs/platform/signals), 15 [Triage Agent](/docs/platform/triage-agent) messages / month.
  * Tracing, search, [alerts](/docs/platform/alerts), [signal presets](/docs/platform/signals#start-from-a-preset), [MCP](/docs/mcp/overview) and the [Query SDK](/docs/query-api/sdk) are all included.
  * Issues and Experiments are visible as a preview; the detected-issue catalog, full Stumbles, and creating experiments are locked.
* **Pro** (\$299 / month) — Everything in Hobby, plus [Issue Detection](/docs/platform/issues), full Stumbles, [Experiments](/docs/platform/experiments), conversation summaries, Memory, data export, and higher limits.
  * Best for teams running agents in production.
  * 10 custom signals, 500 Triage Agent messages / month.
  * Events are metered rather than capped: $0.003 per event to 1M, then $0.002.
  * Starts with a 14-day free trial.
* **Enterprise** (Custom pricing) — Everything in Pro, plus custom limits, SSO / SAML, edge PII redaction, audit logs, warehouse exports, priority support, and SLAs.
  * Best for large organizations with security and compliance requirements.
  * [Talk to sales](https://cal.com/team/raindrop-ai/chat-15-min) to get set up.

If you signed up before the Hobby + Pro launch you may be on an earlier plan (**Starter** / **Startup**, or a custom contract). Those plans keep the pricing and limits you signed up with; Settings → Billing shows what your org is on today.

## When you reach a limit

* **Custom signals.** Creating a signal past your plan's count is refused with a message naming the limit. Archive a signal to free the slot, upgrade, or — on Pro — [talk to us](https://cal.com/team/raindrop-ai/chat-15-min) about Enterprise capacity. [Presets](/docs/platform/signals#start-from-a-preset) and SDK-tracked signals don't count against it.
* **Triage Agent messages.** Past your monthly allowance the agent stops answering and links you to Settings → Billing. Paid plans can add extra messages there; on Hobby the way forward is Pro.
* **Events.** Hobby stops ingesting for the rest of the calendar month once you pass 1,000 events. Pro is metered rather than capped, so ingestion continues and the extra events land on your invoice.
* **Pro-only surfaces.** Issues, Stumbles, and Experiments stay visible on Hobby — you can read the page and the previews, but the detected-issue catalog, full Stumbles, and creating experiments require Pro.

Limits follow your *active* subscription. If a subscription lapses, the org falls back to Hobby's limits until it's restored; nothing you've already logged or created is deleted.
